Scam Debt Collector claims debt owed when it does not.

Keeps calling and refused to identify who they are

Calling here also....saying they needed myself or a lawyer to contact them asap. Haha Freakin scammers. I dont answer the phone....just let the machine take it.

Called claiming to be collecting for a phone company. Wanted personal information from me first to "confirm" my identity.

I was told they were calling to collect a debt and there in FL

received call from 888-2226-3712- something about a litigation against me - provided case # E105846 and gave a name that I have never heard. what is this? said they would remove my name from case?

(888) 226 - 3712 x7017 they claimed a lawsuit against me...but would not give information about where they were calling from or who they were. they did give the county name in which they claimed to have filed this so-called lawsuit and also provided a "case number" which I have not been able to confirm as accurate with any court in the county she claimed. the woman on the phone was named Cynthia and she said "considered yourself served" HAHAHA ive never heard of "Service by Phone"...phishing scam???

Since I have no outstanding debts that I'm aware of, I have no idea why these people keep calling day after day at the same time. I've finally started picking up, and when the person comes on at the other end I just hang up. Maybe they'll get frustrated enough that they'll stop bothering me.
