Have received three calls this week from MCI. I do believe this is a scam.

Caller identifies himself as Blake Farnsworth, interceding for an unnamed client regarding a legal matter. Wants a return call before issue escalates.

Caller identifies herself as Ann Mitchell; due to a time sensitive issue, requests that I call her back as soon as possible!

The caller wanted to have remote access to my computer which I told him was making me uncomfortable so I refused to give to him. I really think he wanted to sell me something which he denied or it was a scam as others have mentioned.

He said he was in New Jersey when asked. He said it was about my computer not being able to update. I doubt this was Microsoft calling.

The rep called and said that he was going to file a summons against me and when I kept calling the number back; there was a messages stating to leave a voicemail.

repeated calls. warning of computer problem saying Microsoft blocked and it might cause ?????. Different men, heavy accents. This is number they give when told I don't understand & would like my son to talk to them. Obviously a scam but very annoying. If I say we have no computer they act confused.

This guy called me from this number an said he was an attorney trying to collect a debt. He was trying to badger me into giving him information. I don't take to this kind of collection practice.

Male caller asked for my spouse by name. I asked who was calling, person said, "Fortune Web Masters", the number was registered in Hilo, HI. I told the caller that if this was a marketing call, that we are on the 'no-call' list. He said it was not a marketing call. I told him my spouse was not available, and was there a message? He said only to tell her that "Fortune Web Masters" had called, and hung up.I did a search for businesses in Hilo that could be identified by that name. Nothing. I searched by the phone number and ended up here. Aha. A telemarketer AND a liar.
